My name is Vicki Richardson
and I am assisting to organize the First Gay & Lesbian Film Festival
ever in Romania. It will take place in March of 2004 in Brasov, Romania
at the one of the only gay bars in Romania. Although it is the first edition
and the budget is very low, the enthusiasm and excitement for this festival
is very high and will make it one of the most significant events in Romania
for the gay and lesbian community. Films will be shown on VHS. I hope
you will send your film to us so that we may include it in our festival.
The best way to send a VHS copy is by airmail. We will not be able to
return the tape. I hope you will help us make this event a success by
submitting your work. Just a few years ago it was illegal for gays and
lesbians to have social functions and they were and still are harassed
by the police and by society in general. This event is an important step
forward. I hope you will support us by sending a copy of your film and
help make this event a big success.
